How it works
Why composting is necessary?

Composting condos strives to help educate people about the importance of composting and how you can take part even if you live in an urban center. Learn how to compost in a matter of minutes and reduce your contribution to landfills while creating rich potting soil for your indoor plants or balcony garden.

Believe it or not, organic waste (food) and non-recyclable paper products such as tissues, napkins and paper towels are contributing a whopping 50% of the stuff that ends up in landfills and with rising waste levels in our society, landfills are becoming increasingly scarce. To make matters worse, these organic resources (food and paper) that end up in landfills are unable to decompose properly due to a lack of oxygen and excessive water.  These conditions also result in rising levels of methane gas being released into the atmosphere, a gas more destructive than CO2.

To learn more about why we should compost and how it works, please take advantage of our articles, forum, blog and composting guides.  If you are interested in getting involved or learning more please contact us. We're always looking for new ideas and partnerships.
